How we help
MHS partners with charitable organizations, medical professionals and educational facilities to provide safety, comfort, food, shelter, health care and educational services--basic needs every child and family deserves.
Our services include, but are not limited to funding for: + Food, clothing and family services + Medical, dental and prescription services + Counseling, psychological services and autism therapy + School supplies, tutoring and career counseling + case management and referral services for children, families and agencies
MHS staff work to ensure that each applicant's needs are assessed and reviewed on an individual basis. We can also provide information and referral services for all Texas children and families.
Applications:
To be considered for assistance, a parent or legal guardian must complete an application in full for each child. If treatment will be provided by a doctor, therapist, dentist or other professional, a Provider Referral form must also be submitted.

Medical Treatment/Therapy

Sometimes life brings unexpected hurdles, sickness or tragedy. If you find yourself needing help to maintain stability for your family we may be able to help. MHS partners with Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) for families who need assistance.
